The Bay Ridge and Bensonhurst Beautification Preservation Alliance, Inc. (BRB) is a Not for Profit 501-C 3 Corporation,  EIN # 113233233 comprised of a coalition of ten groups including Boards of Trade, Merchants Organizations and LDC’s representing over 3000 businesses along the main commercial avenues in western Brooklyn.

Since its inception in 1994, the BRB has worked to create an alliance with area merchants, property owners, and local institutions in order to address issues of economic growth and quality of life. Its efforts have been directed toward maintaining the vitality of the area’s combination of residential units, recreational facilities, parklands, and the retail/service commercial presence.

The core mission of the BRB is the retention and development of local business through economic support services and programs in the form of technical assistance, physical enhancements, strategic planning, network development, such as the start of Business Improvement Districts (B.I.D.s ) and support of small business in BayRidge /Dyker Heights/Bensonhurst.

BRB Programs include involvement, support, corrdination, education, and participation with city state and federal agencies relative to economic development, security, emergency response, transportation, communications and related issues. It also provides administrative support services for its members and other not for profits in the community.
